Seth Bickley
Series/Canon:
Original Character (Of anothers creation)
From When?
He dead.
World Description:
Mage: The Ascension loosely based off of it, at least.
History:
Seth was raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts for the first eleven years of his life. The only memorable moments of his life were how he flew through school, lost his dad to natural causes, his parents hadn't wanted children for a while, but he moved to Boston with his mother where he finished school. The move was the only point he had stumbled on his own two feet, intellectually, and that was only because of how he had pushed his thoughts towards more of making sure to not really think of losing his dad. (It was bound to happen, he was old. His mother wasn't lookin' too hot, either, she was just determined to hold tight til he was 18, at least.)
That's getting a bit ahead of ourselves, though. Kind of, at least. When Seth was 15, he met Harry Feynman. They bonded fairly quickly, a bit more so, even, after Harry had lost his mother. They became best friends and even went to MIT together. Seth had bonded with not only Harry, but his sister, Jane, as well. Almost viewing her as the younger sister he had never had.
During his schooling, he traveled to Igarka, and made a few trips to different areas of Japan. He also specialized in aeronautic engineering. After school he had created a moon impact sensor, and a light therapy machine.
Of course, during his time knowing Harry, he wanted to help his best friend however much as possible. Seth had gotten his doctorate, using that knowledge to help as best he could, and unfortunately met his death while working on a project to help Harry.
Which brings us to New Dodge. Seth has vague memories of his death, but his reasoning for having come back is not anger toward Harry, or blame, but more concern. What he remembers most from his death is that it was by no means the others fault. And he will fight that fact through his afterlife. So now, here he is. In New Dodge. In the labs, mostly, but able to go exploring if he really wanted to. Being called Doctor Sad Eyes.
Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
I mean. He's technically already here. But he could work with everyone else on whatever they were doing, and would be among geniuses as well.
How do you plan to expand their CR?
Taking part in events, having him help out with things that go on in town when needed...
What will your character do for work?
Be a ghost in the labs. And if/when he's brought back to life, work IN the labs.
Inventory:
He's a ghooooooost so what he's wearing? I guess?

For the most part, he stayed in the lab. In fact, haunting the lab was all he could actually remember besides the Ghost Moon about being in New Dodge. There was one other person he would speak with, but it wasn't the most common thing for him to do. The strongest memories he had was that he was dead, it hurt like hell for what seemed like a split second and forever all at once, and that the end result was not Harrys fault. He knew it was a project, but most of the details by now had gone fuzzy. He was there, helping his best friend, then he was dead, now he was here. First dealing with a moon that seemed to be affecting most everyone, vaguely remembering his meeting Nica, and then being in and out of existence, almost, it felt.
To say that was strange would be one of the understatements of the year. At least his reverting back and forth from his chemical burned and the appearance of being perfectly fine. But today, he felt, for the first time in months that he was doing a lot better. He could actually recognize everything and he didn't feel like he barely existed.
So he would take advantage of this and poke around the lab for the time being, rather quickly finding Harrys work area specifically. He was curious and in a moment of clarity why wouldn't he want to check out his best friends work. The board covered in organized chaos, tilting his head in order to read everything in full, giving an amused snort. Soon enough, he moved onward to continue his poking around, not realizing when he activated a nearby TC3.
Seth tapped his chin as he looked at things, having moved on from lab to lab, starting to sing Everybody Wants to Rule the World. Soon enough, he turned to the TC and yelped before disappearing off screen.
